Homage to Willow Wood Series --- Vaughan Art Works

The gesso panel by Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh entitled "Oh Ye That Walk in Willow Wood" , completed in 1903, was the centre piece of the Room de Luxe at Miss Cranston's Willow Tea Rooms in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.

This gesso panel by Dai and Jenny Vaughan was completed in 1999, and is inspired by the original, which is currently on display at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow.
